Not sure what to say?

Mom... I'm not really a guest, but I thought I would write anyway.

I can't believe that you left us. I know it was time, I KNOW you're in a better place, I know all of that, but it's still such a shock to me that you are gone. I miss your accent so much, the funny things that you said unintentionally, your quick wit, and sinister sense of humor. I miss you. You were such a great friend to me as I grew older, and I appreciate that I was able to tell you everything and I appreciate your...

Dear Eric, Sonja, Lisa, and families, We are so sorry for your loss. We know this is a difficult time for you. Kaija was a wonderful woman, and I have so many memories of her; her smile that showed she cared, her fun personality while having all us kids into her home to play, teaching us how to make what seemed like hundreds of loaves (perhaps really a couple dozen) of bread for the R. Lodge bazaars., and her laughing with me while whispering the secret password that I forgot so I could...

Sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lisa, Sonja, and Dahlbacka family,
I recall many fond memories in and around the home of your loving parents. I espescially remember the warmth that your mother showed me and the other neighborhood children. I want to extend my heartfelt condolences at this very sad time. Know that you are all in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Alison McManus

Sonja, Lisa and Family,

I am so very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. Although I have not seen you all for many years, I have many wonderful memories of your mom. Having just lost my dad, I understand the profound sense of loss you must feel at this time. Know that you are all in my prayers. Sonja, please contact me when you are feeling up to it.

So sorry about Kaija's passing. I am so sorry I will not be able to be there for the memorial. I am in Redding with my daughter Lynn. Please know you are all in my prayers. I will see you when I get back to town. My Love and Prayers Paula Fredrickson

Lisa & Sonja, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. You & your family have my deepest sympathy! Susan (Pitlock)

What a gift it was to have known your mother, Kaija. She always had a kind word and an undescribable "twinkle" in her eyes. I used to love to just listen to her talk....about anything--her stories were wonderful, and had a magical way of transporting a person right into them. Please know that we are thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Jill Ross and family
