Working with Ms. Agurs was a truly special opportunity. Rarely before have I seen a teacher work with such patience, grace, and kindness. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Agurs family. May our great God grant you the peace and comfort that only He can give. I have such warm and fond memories of Katrinka. We taught together at Birney Elementary School many years ago and worshiped together at Israel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Agurs had such a warm and gentle spirit during the time we shared as colleagues at the Edison-Friendship PCS - Chamberlain Campus.
I pray that family and friends will find comfort in the memories of Katrinka and all she meant to you.
With deepest sympathy.

Trina we miss you so much, but I'm glad you are no longer in pain. You are resting with The Lord. I keep thinking about the summer you spent with us when we were children and how much we looked up to you. Those memories always put a smile on my face. Rest well.
