Not sure what to say?

May heartfelt condolence to the family, may the fond memories help the family at this most difficult time.

I'm a student that choose to join a group called DC Reads in the winter of last year. To my good fortune, I was assigned as a third grade aide... in the classroom of Katrinka M. Agurs. Working with Ms. Agurs was a truly special opportunity. Rarely before have I seen a teacher work with such patience, grace, and kindness. Rarely have I seen a teacher care so much for the well-being and improvement of each and every young boy and girl in her classroom. Ms. Agurs was in the business of helping...

My deepest condolences to the Agurs Family. I haven't spoken to her for several years, but I believe she was my friend. I am a better person for knowing her. My prayers are with the family. Thank you.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Agurs family. May our great God grant you the peace and comfort that only He can give. I have such warm and fond memories of Katrinka. We taught together at Birney Elementary School many years ago and worshiped together at Israel Baptist Church.

Sending my heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Agurs family. May God give you peace and comfort during this time of loss.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Heaven has truly gained an Angel. The world is a better place because you were in it.

Mrs. Agurs had such a warm and gentle spirit during the time we shared as colleagues at the Edison-Friendship PCS - Chamberlain Campus.

I pray that family and friends will find comfort in the memories of Katrinka and all she meant to you.

With deepest sympathy.

Trina we miss you so much, but I'm glad you are no longer in pain. You are resting with The Lord. I keep thinking about the summer you spent with us when we were children and how much we looked up to you. Those memories always put a smile on my face. Rest well.
