Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Kay's death. She was a personal friend of mine and my wife for years as we were involved in a genealogy project involving the research and publication of nine volumes covering all the known burial sites in Polk County. She was the sparkplug that made thirteen years of work on the project possible and fun. Her van drove hundreds of miles during that time and she did all the original data entry from the forms collected by a number of dedicated volunteers. She was never content...

Kay will be missed by all of her Jernigan cousins. I know we were sisters under the skin. We enjoyed many trips hunting Jernigans. Rest in Peace and hope you find some great wildflowers.

Leaving us with only good memories. May your caring kindness be your legacy. May your love of orchids live on in those you love.

Our condolence to your family. Kay has always been good to us as her tenants for the last twelve years. May she rest in peace. Doug & Jane Hudson

This fine lady was my aunt, and I cannot put into words how very unique and outstanding she truly was. She achieved so much in her life, and has left us all with sorrow for her loss, but great pride in her life.

Rest In Peace my lifelong friend beginning in First Grade at St Joseph's, What a wonderful group we were being in touch all through these years! We will miss your expertise in keeping our e-mails for our LHS Class of 1958 for our reunions! Judy Harris Cline

Kay,
You were more than a sister to me, you were our second mother who looked out for us our whole lives. You took on a lot of responsibility at a young age and never shrugged it off. I miss you so very much and will always have you in my heart.

MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH THE FAMILY AT THE LOSS OF KAY. SHE WAS A SPECIAL LADY.

Kay, Know you are sleeping in heavenly peace, my BFF. To your family and friends you will be sorely missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. What a wondrous life you have led. I am so happy to be a part of it. God has blessed you.
