This is a photo of Keith's mother-Lavone. She was a major influence on his life by getting him to go to college and train as a vocalist in the School of Music. Ssdly she passed away very early in Keith's life. Hopefully, they are reunited now.

You always did such a nice job on my hair. I remember you fixing my perm for me after I had a beauty school dropout do it when I was in middle school, even though you had advised me not to get a perm in the first place. Thanks for your generosity, allowing me to come over to your house because you were booked at work, braiding my hair before I went to China. It was nice having you as a beautician, and as a friend. I will miss you.
