Offering sympathy and prayers for you!

On this 75th anniversary of D-Day, and thinking of my own son who went to join the army...then completed the Ranger academy right out of h.s...was 19 when he went and shortly after completing the Ranger training which he failed the 1st time around...so determined he did it over again successfully...only to be deployed to go fight the Iraq war right after 9/11...hats off to this young man Kendrick Castillo who also sacrificed his life for others. Sorry, I was unable to attend any of the services since I was out of town. I was in Oregon sitting in my brother's Hospice room when I heard the sad news. I did not know Kendrick, but I have a son who is similar age. My heart goes out to the parents to seek peace knowing your beautiful son was truly beyond his years as a self-less brave hero.

I never met Kendrick but I feel as if an important part of me have left this world. I am going to miss you, and I hope your parents can find peace in their hearts as they mourn the loss of a great person.

To the Parents of Kendrick Castillo. My deepest sympathy goes out to you as you mourn the death of your loved one. May the God of all comfort touch your hearts and give you peace. He has said, I am your comforter, and I myself shall keep comforting you people. (Isaiah 51:12) My condolences to you.

Rest in piece, a true HERO

Such a selfless and a-brave soul. May your family cherish all the fond memories of him that your heart and mind can hold.
