Ohatchee - Funeral services for Kenneth (Kenney) Lamar Kilgore II, 43, will be on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. The officiator will be Pastor Kent Mattox from Word Alive International Outreach Church. Immediately following services the burial will be at Hebron Cemetery in Ohatchee. The viewing will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Anniston on October 26, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. Survivors include his daughter, Rhian Kilgore; son, Gabriel Kilgore; mother, Rosemary (Dunaway) Brown (Keith); father, Kenneth Kilgore Sr.; sister, Misty Kilgore; wife, Christy Florey; grandmother, Doris Jennings; preceded by grandfather, "Buck" Dunaway and grandmother, Hester Dunaway; family and friends. Kenny passed away at Regional Medical Center October 24, 2013. He worked as an engineer at Burlington Railroad in Birmingham for 17 years and went to school at Ohatchee High school. He was greatly loved by his family and will be missed very much. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to project 58 http://www.project58serve.org/give-58/ the purpose is to feed and provide clean water for those without the means of securing such resources.
