I cannot list here all of the attributes of this most outstanding person and professor -- he was simply the "best-of-the-best"! It is amazing how many times I find myself "using" what he taught me to understand something in the criminal law that still comes at me everyday while listening to the news or podcasts, etc. Being in the military and departing the University of Cincinnati when I did it was had -- as it always is/was as both a "military brat" and then as a career military...

Professor Aplin was next to my doctoral chairman, absolutely the best professor I ever studied under and he could not have been more generous with his time and intellect and a pure gentleman.
