Not sure what to say?

Great guy and great friend. Worked with Sam at the RRC for several years, we always had fun on our "outings" to the field.

Got to know Sam when I worked for Mitchell Energy Corp at Bridgeport, Tx and he was with the RRC. Great friend and person. He will always be in my thoughts. We had a lot of good times out on locations. My prayers are with you.

Janis I'm sorry to hear about Sam leaving us here and going to be with our Lord & Savior. You are loved by family and so many friends at CBCB plus the great God of all the universe. Did not know Sam but I did see how much love you showed for this partner in life. I'm glad you all had so many special memories and days together. May our Lord Jesus Christ wrap his loving arms around you and give you the Peace and Comfort you need. All my Love Lois Garber

My heart goes out to you for your deep loss you must be feeling for your beloved . How sad to lose someone so loved and so needed. May you find comfort in prayer and in one another. (Jeremiah 29:12,13)

Growing up I always looked forward to a visit from Aunt Goldie and Uncle Sam! They were two of my favorites and I loved them both dearly! Uncle Sam was such a sweetie, a kind soul. The Pete Swinea family here in Oklahoma grieve with the rest of the family the loss of this really good man. We offer our prayers for peace and comfort to Janis and the rest of the family.

Gavin and Melva, we are sorry to hear of your loss! May the love of our Lord and Savior be with you and your family. May the Lord comfort you and bring you peace!

So sorry for your loss. We pray God's peace and comfort for you all as you mourn the loss, and rejoice with you as you look forward to a glorious reunion some day.

Our Uncle Sam! Had to smile when I saw his full name. He was one precious man of few words but always a blessed smile that we could always count on. He was my Precious Mom, Sybil's, baby brother and they had a beautiful bond as Mom always said she'd about half raised Sam. Their mannerisms and looks were so similar that even after she died in 1983, I could see Sam & feel my Moms presence. I would have to apologize to Sam for staring, smiling, & hugging him when I got to spend any time with...

Janis, I join all of the Caldwell family sending a prayer for peace and comfort for you and our family. Sam lived closest to us whenever he was in Perryton and we were in Borger. I remember a few trips to visit and how special he made my brothers and I feel. His ever present smile and his joy for living is a legacy that I know I will cherish. A personal "Thank You" for filling the void in his life when Goldie passed away, and "thank you" for your loving care for this special man. May GOD...
