Kenneth Hardcastle Obituary
June 23, 1932 - July 22, 2022
Kenneth Owen Hardcastle, 90, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022 in Houston, Texas after suffering from an extended illness known as Post-Polio Syndrome. He was preceded in death by his wife Paige Hardcastle. They are now together forever.
Mr. Hardcastle was born June 23, 1932. He attended the University of Houston studying business accounting and participated in the university's baseball program. He was a lifelong accountant in the oil and gas industries. He retired from Pennzoil where he worked for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, sports, especially the Astros and gardening where he raised Hibiscus.
Mr. Hardcastle is survived by his sister, Jean Hardcastle Robertson of Houston, his three children Shannon Hardcastle Moses and her husband Danny of Wharton, Texas, Kenneth C Hardcastle and his wife Natalya of Navasota, Texas and Leah Hardcastle Martin and her husband Gary of Lake Jackson, Texas, his grandchildren Lindsey McReaken, James Bobal, Jason Martin, Reagan Martin, Colton Moses, Caitlan Moses, Aileen Hardcastle, Ian Findley, Melina Hardcastle, and Anna Klebanova, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 10 AM to 11 AM in our "White Oak" room at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow for Kenneth on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
The Hardcastle family is grateful to the staff at The Forum at Memorial Woods, Crossroads Hospice, Caring Hearts (especially Natasha, Caroline and Christy) and Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital for making our father's passage as gentle, painless, and peaceful as possible. Thank you.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to Crossroads Hospice or Caring Hearts.
