Kenneth Scofield Keyes III

Kenny and I were high school buddies when he attended Southwest high. We became friends and we lost touch while at u of Florida. We went on boat trips with the family Clara Sue and shnopsy the dachshund pet. Shnopsy always had her nails done in red. Had wonderful memories with the family.I remember going on the family yacht to tavernier in the keys...I remember being with Kenny and going to the events at the Dinner key yacht club. I tried on several occasions to get back in touch with Kenny...

I first met Kenny during the summer of 1957 while trying out for the Coral Gables Football. I knew him for those three years, I admired him for his effort to learn three new words each day. He was heads and shoulders above us intellectually.

Good times at Gables High and the University of Florida!

I knew Ken when I lived in Atlanta in the late sixties before and after he went to Vietnam. It was my pleasure to know him.

I went to high school and then to the University of Florida with Ken. We had many good times together.

I was saddened to hear of Kenn's passing. I met Kenn and Clara Lou while attending Coral Gables High School.
