Not sure what to say?

Had Coach King as a P.E. instructor and a coach when I was manager of the Granby soccer team. The best of the best. Bosque Farms, NM

You taught me how to spray fruit trees years. There is a place for you in heaven. Love Marion harmon

Bill and Carole and family....my condolences to the loss of the King patriarch .... Looks like a life well lived, easy to see how his children were the good people they are. My Dad would have been 94 yesterday. RIP Mr King

To the King family. Your father was a kind man and great friend. The Ludorf family (Ron, Kathy and Cole)

Ken was a dedicated teacher and coach. He built an educational sports program at Granby High School that developed young men into great people even though we may not have been the state champions. They don't make many like him anymore.

When I started teaching at Granby in 1962, Ken was one of the first faculty members to befriend me. He and Nancy Duncan swept me into the Granby athletic world where I attended games and worked with the cheerleading team. At Ken´s urging I met another teacher, Seth Harris, whom I eventually married after Ken´s constant urging. He took such a paternal and caring of me (us) even after our careers concluded. He was a very special man.

My condolences to the family and friends of the Ken King.... he was a class guy! I played for him from 1961 to 1964 and will never forget the example he set. He stood for integrity. I am afraid that I failed him as an athlete, but know that I learned to make better choices because of the leadership he provided.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Thanks for the notice concerning Mr. King--a wonderful coach and teacher--in celebration of a life well lived. Mr. King was an exceptional educator. An anchor in the storm. I think of him often, and have missed him ever since graduation. All my best wishes to his family and friends. Mark Hamilton, class of '67.
