Ken was the tour guide for my non-believing mother-in-law when we took her to the assembly hall in Coraopolis. She was very impressed with him. She asked me if he was a teacher. She had a masters degree in education. She recognized his quality.

Wanted to first extend my condolences to the Mitchell Family. I remember I first attended Swissvale and Ken was always welcoming. I appreciated how he conducted meetings, and you could tell he was a natural teacher because he would ask questions to make you think. Within a few minutes of first meeting Mr. Ken through my friendship with Linda, he casually shared his thoughts on a matter and had the new folks in the small group saying, "I never thought about it like that before..." We only met face-to-face less than a handful of times after that and his genuine, kind, honest heart, quick wit and sense of humor are what I remember the most.
