Morrissey, Kenneth Wade, went to be reunited with his family in Heaven, Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Chesley Morrissey (nee Frazier); loving father of Patrick; cherished brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and dear friend to many.


Proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eleanor Morrissey; and his brothers, Paul, Robert, and Peter; and his sister, Justine. 


He was born in Yonkers, New York, but his most joyful fulfilling years were the last 47 that he has spent here in Crescent, MO. Ken tirelessly devoted 33 years as owner of Frazier Davis Construction Company.


Services:  Graveside service at Lewis Cemetery, 400 Allen Road, Crescent, MO 63025 on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lewis Chapel, 587 Lewis Road, Crescent, MO 63025. I´ve not known Ken but for a few years. He was a great guy who I was impressed by his energy. I met him at the church during applebutter time. Him,Chelsey, and Patrick were there from dawn to dusk. They all became true friends with me. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with Ches and Patrick at this heartbreaking time.

I worked for Ken until just a few years ago. He was the most hard working person I ever worked with. His son and wife were right there working with him, they were an impressive family together. I am so sorry he didn’t get to enjoy more time with them retired.

When I first met Ken--what would that be? 1973--he was coming from working on a film set in London, along with my sister Chesley. His brother Paul Morrissey made a lot of movies, and directed movies for Andy Warhol too. Ches and Ken had met at a lovely ski-village in Colorado, then moved for a year to Southeast Asia. But this pair of jet-setters truly settled down in Crescent, Missouri. At that time, I was living in the old Gudermuth house atop Lewis Road, but Ches and Ken soon became...
