Visiting the James Short Farm in Knox, IN with Kenneth Nichols

I am very proud of my Great Uncle, Kenneth Nichols. He was a role model in so many ways, first as a respected family member, second as a brave soldier in WW2 where he served with the 315th Bomb Wing on Guam as a Lt. As my undergraduate professor, Dr. Nichols was a dedicated educator, and as a colleague, Ken was my mentor. He was always a superb professional and a worthy model.

Mr. Nichols will always be considered a HERO for serving our country during a time when fighting for our freedom was essential. You truly were part of the "Greatest Generation". Thank you Sir for your bravery, courage and sacrifice. May God hold you in his loving arms. Rest in Peace.
