Dear Rainey Family,

I'm praying that the Lord wraps his loving arms around you all and give comfort. You're a wonderful family and I know the Lord will watch over you.

Deaconess Rainey,Linecia and Kenita:

I am saddened to hear of your loss. You all embraced my twin sister (LaVetra Sanders) and I during our tenure in Connecticut.

Ken was instrumental in exposing young people in New London County to HBCUs(Historically Black Colleges and Universities)

We are grateful to Ken for his inspiring dedication and tremendous example to the world.

Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

Linda & Daughters,
My sincere regrets for your loss of a very special man. Ken was one of a kind. Hold on to your great memories and all the good times shared, as I will do the same(smile). Just keep the faith and God will see you through. My prayers are with you.

Ken's legacy will live on through all the great things that he has done and all the people that he has touched. He led by example as a true friend, father, husband, and man of God. I will truly miss him but will never forget him.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Deaconness Linda and your lovely daughters. Deacon Rainey was truly a jewel, and his light and legacy will continue to shine through the adults and youths whose lives he touched. The spirits of those we love are the treasures that we get to keep in our hearts forever. Love, Sister Michelle Dunlap
