Ed & Eva Maffei

One of my earliest memories that I can put a date on was playing trucks with my next door neighbor, Kenny Rauscher, on the wall surrounding his house on Clamshell road. This one particular day, while we were playing, his mother, Florence, opened the kitchen window and yelled out " The war is over, The war is over". That was 1945. We were 5 years old at that time. I have many nice memories of working and playing with Kenny on his Grandfathers' farm. Learning how to drive. Working the fields...

Kenny was a classmate at CHS.A very hardworking person who never had a harsh word for or about anyboby. May he rest in the Hands of God.
