Kenneth Reece Shaw, 90, of Greeneville, passed away Thursday at his home.
He was a retired Greeneville City School Teacher and farmer.
Kenneth was a member of Church of God.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corp also a member of VFW Post No. 1990 and American Legion Post No. 64.
He is survived by his companion and best friend for 24 years: Janice Ann Shaw; a daughter: Rita Shaw Norton; two grandsons: Nicholas Norton and Justin Norton; great-grandchildren: Gavin Norton, Adelei Norton, and Grady Norton; as well as special friends: Mike and Angela Stine.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Ira Guy Shaw and Evelyn Shaw; also preceded in death by a brother: Darriel Shaw.
There will be a graveside service on Sunday at 2:30 pm in GreeneLawn Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the Entombment Service.
The Greene County Honor Guard and TN National Guard honor team will conduct a Military Service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will include Jimmy Shelton, Doug Shelton, Bill Crum, Bobby Crum, Jimmy Dean Coffey, Jerry Darnell and Dr. Elliott B. Smith.
There will be no formal visitation.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
