Please accept my condolences on the loss on your husband. I served under Chief Small in the Reactor Control Division on the Skate until November 1967. I enjoyed working for him especially during the time we were in the shipyard. His leadership was invaluable in ensuring everything went smoothly during that time. My wife and I appreciate that you and Chief Small were able to attend our engagement party in Norfolk in 1967.

Ken was the ultimate shipmate. He was kind, smart, had a wicked since of humor and was a terrific COB. It is with great sympathy to Ken"s family that we note his passing. Sailor rest your oar, we have the watch!

Aunt Ev, Aunt Ev. I so want to be with you now. You, Uncle Ken, Alicia & Tony have always shown our family the kind of love that is written about through the ages. Uncle was a kind fellow. Funny, intelligent and most importantly for me, he held this unending generosity of spirit that made me feel absolutely safe, modeling "all will be well." Uncle Ken had me thinking that I might like to go to Nebraska. Nebraska might be good for me. The "Small´s" always rolled out the red carpet even in...
