Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear about Ken. We very good friends in high school. We were sports partners in basketball and baseball. You have my sympathy.

We knew Ken as the Principal of West Elementary School. He was the best! He knew each and every child by name and treated them with the same respect & courtesies extended to their parents. He impacted many young lives. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy. He was my P.E. Teacher at FRG. I met up with him a few years ago at Healthbridge where we took water classes together. It was great to talk about old days and friends. Ken was always a very kind person and I´m sure he will be missed by many!

Ken has been a valued friend for almost 45 years since our days at Crystal Lake District 47. What began as a close professional relationship quickly became one of personal friendship which has endured for so many years. His good nature and smile with me forever. My wife, Linda, and I will miss getting together with him and Jeanine as we have for all those years and into retirement. We extend our sincere condolences to the Thelander family.

Mr T was great example to the students of Orchard Street School. Can still hear his voice ringing out" Chestnuts roasting on a open fire......" Heaven has welcomed another angel

Ken truly made West "the best" as my kids use to say. A marvelous educator for so many years, a great friend. Prayers,

My deepest condolences to the entire Thelander family, Ken was truly a unique and gentle soul. I always looked forward to playing golf with him on Wednesday nights. Steve, Beth and Sara Pokorny

My deepest sympathies, Mrs. T and family. Mr. T was one of my favorite teachers! I´m truly sorry for your loss ...Elsie
