We knew Ken as the Principal of West Elementary School.
He was the best! He knew each and every child by name and treated them with the same respect & courtesies extended to their parents. He impacted many young lives. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy. He was my P.E. Teacher at FRG. I met up with him a few years ago at Healthbridge where we took water classes together. It was great to talk about old days and friends. Ken was always a very kind person and I´m sure he will be missed by many!

Ken has been a valued friend for almost 45 years since our days at Crystal Lake District 47. What began as a close professional relationship quickly became one of personal friendship which has endured for so many years. His good nature and smile with me forever. My wife, Linda, and I will miss getting together with him and Jeanine as we have for all those years and into retirement. We extend our sincere condolences to the Thelander family.

Mr T was great example to the students of Orchard Street School. Can still hear his voice ringing out" Chestnuts roasting on a open fire......" Heaven has welcomed another angel
