I only met Ken a very short 3 years ago yet he made me feel as though I had known him all my life. He had made an indelible impression on me. I had the joy of getting to know him, his family and his life and my only regret is simply that I didn't have more time with him, a lot more time actually... rest well our gentle giant...you will be painfully missed. Ken and I met when he in the restaurant business almost 40 years ago and I was a salesman with Kraft Foods. We became friends instantly.

Later, when he was owner of KD Services we also were affiliated in the food service industry.

Ken, a friend Jack, and I always tried to get together on St. Patrick's Day for corn beef and cabbage and a few beers. We never left the restaurant without having blueberry pie and ice cream.

My Father Ken was a kind, loving, gentle giant. He was a big man with a big heart, and he loved life. He was a huggable, jolly fellow who always kept people laughing, no matter how he was feeling, even during the very difficult, final weeks and days of his life. He was always warm, friendly and upbeat, and treated people very genuinely.
