I remember the fun fishing trips with my parents in the late 1940's aboard Kenny Lyman's charter boat, the "Lucky Penny," named for his wife, Penny. As a bonafide Boyntonite - A flood of wonderful memories come to mind when I think of the name Lyman. Kenny and family had a tremendous impact on shaping Boynton in a quiet and sutble way. Lyman's docks etc provided both economic and social benefit to a quiet and safe community then unknown to most that were discovering other parts of Florida. And while many searched for treasures off shore I was one of the fortuate to have known some of the overlooked treasures on-shore such as the Lyman's....
