Got to meet Kermit Work in 1985. His son John & myself were stationed at old Bergstrom AFB, Texas. Also know Kermit's old AF buddy Colonel Richard Dick Haskett.

Kermit was my OIC, in Wiesbaden. (Mainz-Kastel, 1980 to 1984) He was a Captain, and I was there when he pinned on Major. He was the best officer I ever worked for, barring none. Mark G Hagan, Msgt USAF, Retired.

I worked with Kermit at K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan from 1977 - 1979. Wonderful officer and person. I only recently heard about his passing. I posted a photo of him with my oldest child from 1979. My condolences.
