Ft. Collins, Colorado - Born on March 15, 1970 in Tallahassee, Florida, Kerry passed away on Dec. 8, 2022, in Colorado. He was 52.
Growing up in Miami, Florida, Kerry and his brother Kris had fishing rods in their hands from the time they could hold them. They spent as much time as possible fishing the pristine flats off Islamorada, Biscayne Bay and the Everglades.
Kerry and Kris had a grandfather who who taught them to know the waters, how to tie flies and an exceptional appreciation for fishing. "Catch and Release" was always a part of their being.
At age 25, Kerry was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He stayed in Miami until he could no longer manage the heat. He chose to go back to Colorado where he had graduated from CSU. He was able to enjoy being outside, putting on a golf course for a few more years.
MS took Kerry's ability to walk four years ago.He was bedridden in recent months and passed away from cardiac arrest.
Kerry was predeceased by his brother Kris, grandparents Ed and Jeanne Corlett and cousin Katie Corlett. He was also predeceased by his father, Kerry Nahoom.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Corlett McCammon, stepfather Robert McCammon, stepbrother Kelly and stepsister Maryl Kim, his uncle Chip Corlett and nephew Buddy Corlett. He is also survived by his Aunt Janis Williams (Pat) and cousins Rachael and Bryan Williams.
