Not sure what to say?

Special thanks to those who expressed their sympathies to the family and friends of Kevin Carduff. As a child Kevin was called “Smiley”. He was easy to raise, happy for another’s good fortune, never jealous, a hard worker who was dependable and loyal. He didn’t need the ‘fluff’ of life. He loved people, a good joke, a good ball game. He loved his daughter, his family, and friends. He was excited for a frat brother who got a new teaching job. Proud of his car, even though it had over...

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may...

To Kevin's Family;
May God be your comfort at this time of your sorrow and give you hope and strength in the days to come.
We love you Courtney,

Love & Blessings,

Kevin, I'm really going to miss you buddy. You were a good friend of mine since 1989. We were fraternity brothers, roommates in Apt. H, co-workers and friends. The good news is that all of the great times we had can't be taken away because they live on in the memories of so many people. I will see you later dude.

Heartfelt and prayerful condolences from the people of Nativity of Our Lord Parish (Bridgeport) and the Chicago Police Chaplains' Unit. Kevin will be remembered at all Masses here at Nativity this weekend. May his family and friends know the healing touch of Christ during this most difficult time.

Offering our deepest sympathies during this time.

My heart goes out to all of Kevin's friends and family.
Kevina (Nickname) always made me laugh so hard and always put a smile on my face. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
