Special thanks to those who expressed their sympathies to the family and friends of Kevin Carduff. As a child Kevin was called “Smiley”. He was easy to raise, happy for another’s good fortune, never jealous, a hard worker who was dependable and loyal. He didn’t need the ‘fluff’ of life. He loved people, a good joke, a good ball game. He loved his daughter, his family, and friends. He was excited for a frat brother who got a new teaching job. Proud of his car, even though it had over 100,000 miles, and drove from Texas to Chicago in two days to see his Mom on her birthday. Always talked about his TKE brothers and his buddies who helped him out. Thank you, his Mom

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

Kevin, I'm really going to miss you buddy. You were a good friend of mine since 1989. We were fraternity brothers, roommates in Apt. H, co-workers and friends. The good news is that all of the great times we had can't be taken away because they live on in the memories of so many people. I will see you later dude.
