Read MoreMr. Hurt was my gym teacher from kindergarten to 6th grade and almost 30 years later I still think of him from time to time and look back fondly on all the fun we had in gym class during those years. I'm sad to see that he passed, I would have liked to let him know what a great job he did.

Kinnelon has lost a great man. Always there for the kids, and they all loved him. He touched the hearts of every football family and was what every coach should strive to be. Football is family forever and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wonderful family always.
