Dear Laufer Family,
What a tragic shock to hear of Kevin's death. I am so saddened, yet I still reminisce of our happy times together in the 1970s at Waukesha Skateland. I'll always remember our summers on the motorcycles, and the evenings at Skateland. I will pray for your family in these difficult times ahead.
May Kevin rest in peace, Rev. Jim Bartylla

I was deeply saddened to hear of Kevin's tragic passing.
My first job and formitable years were spent at Butler Skateland. The entire Laufer family provided a wonderful moral, fun and loving enviornment for myself and many others.
I can picture Kevin and "Pine Tree" teasing Chuck and Debbie by singing "Chuckies in love".
I remember Kevin and I were relay partners and he would push so hard I thought my wheels were going to fly off. I had all I could...

My deepest sympathies to the Laufer family. I, too, spent my teen years at Waukesha Skateland and have many wonderful memories.
"He [God] speaks to all of us who have stood or will stand in the soft dirt near an open grave. And to us he gives this confident word: 'I want you to know what happens to a Christian when he dies so that when it happens, you will not be full of sorrow, as those are who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and then came back to life again, we can...
