Not sure what to say?

Being one of Kevin's first cousins I was broadsided by the news of his death, but I do have lots of memories of him despite being 15 years his senior. Here was this blond tow headed kid who was happy go lucky and sometimes a pain in the rear, but was always good to have around. My memories of him when he was very young are murky. I do remember visiting Decatur when he was the only Maddox kid left in the house, and him showing me his secret tire swing out in the woods near Oakcrest Court. The...

Sabrina, Mr.& Mrs. Maddox & brothers,

Please except my deepest sympathy.
I thought the world of Kevin. I had an especially great time with him at Bible School last summer, also at "His" blood drive on the blood mobile. I saw the comical side of Kevin on those two occasions :)!
He will be missed so very much. He was a wonderful young man and such a joy to our Church.
GOD grant all of you some peace and understanding at this time and for all the days ahead.

I'd like to extend my condolences to the Maddox family. Kevin was a very close childhood friend of my brother, Scott. Loyal and ever present in our house on Summit Court, I have many fond memories of him. My brother forwarded me the picture of Kevin, Sabrina, and Paul, shortly after Paul's birth. Never was there a more proud husband and papa! I will cherish that image, too, always.

To the Maddox Family -
It's news you never want to hear and I'm saddened to hear of your loss. I grew up with Kevin and as we went from kindergarten to adulthood I had the honour of watching him follow his dreams and making them come true. I’ll never forget the memories: riding our bikes, video games on the Apple II, the swings at Franklin, learning to drive, the water slide at Knight’s, taking the canoe out on Lake Decatur, the one-off Scott & Kevin show on WJMU, and cheering him on as...

It seems so unnatural for a parent to have to bury a child. God will continue to give you the strength to pass through this crisis. I want to do anything I can for you. Love and Prayers, Fran Campbell

May God Bless you during this most difficult time. You are in my prayers.

Our heartfelt condolences to Wade and the entire Maddox family. Words cannot express the sadness we feel in our hearts for the loss you have suffered. Often it seems that you spend more time with your co-workers than your own families, thus your co-workers become part of your extended family. Though many of us never had the fortune to have met Kevin, we feel as though we knew him due to the fact that Wade spoke of him often and could not have been more proud of his little brother and his...
