Dear Jason, Amy, and Pat,
I know you have suffered a tremendous loss-your "Rock" and "Best Friend." We, too, loved Kevin. My husband said he never saw a 6-year old throw a baseball so straight and so hard, and with only sight in one eye. He was, as others have said, so very generous, always thinking of the other person, and always with a SMILE. He will be missed, but always remembered!

Cousin Kevin will be greatly missed. A joy to be around and one of the most giving, caring people I have ever known. He helped get me my first job out of college and even offered me a place to sleep until I got my first paycheck. I will remember him fondly and all the good times we shared on the golf course and in his home. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Jason, Amy & Brittany.

Even thought Kevin was my brother-in-law we didn't get to visit as much I would have liked! Certinally didn't get to play a round of golf with him. It seems like we only got to see each other at family get togethers. Will always remember his infectious smile. He sure did enjoy his grand daughters.

Amy & Family,
I don't know where to start with my memories with your dad...they go back so far and there are so many! Our bond started in second grade when you and I became best friends and your mom and dad took me in and treated me as one of their own. My mom was a single mom and my dad lived out of state and your dad was just always there....with his white hair and his big, huge smile! He always reminded me of Santa Claus, not because of his hair, but his amazing giving spirit. He was always insanely generous and there for all the monumental moments of my life. I remember him filming our homemade "movies", most of which involved flushing cabbage patch kids heads down the toilet???... I remember him getting FOUR AMAZING tickets to New Kids on The Block and making a deal with my mom that he'd buy the tickets and my mom could take us....I remember him (and your mom) including me on family vacations- the one off the top of my head was in Hot Springs Arkansas, where you cried at the spa because people would see you naked ;)!
I remember your dad driving all the way to Lake Charles to watch me graduate college and then trying to secretly pay for my party! (This is still my dads favorite stories of your dad) He was insanely generous and loving and not only 'showed up' but showed up in a huge, magnificent way! I remember my first year of big girl work and being so confused when my first W2 came in the mail and your dad sat with me and helped me figure it all out... I remember him being right there at my wedding, again, with that amazingly happy smile and ROCK of a presence!
I, unfortunately, have not done a good job in keeping in touch with you or your dad and for this, I am deeply regretful. I'd love to be able to sit and tell him what a huge impact he had on my life- I seriously admired him so very much and don't think its any coincidence that I ended up marrying a 'Kevin'.
I love you all and am so very sorry for your loss. I hope you know that your dad's personality and character are so evident in you & Brittney. And if there's one thing I know for sure, he loved you, his family, above all.

PMA is the best description that could possibly describe Kevin... aka Papa. I was lucky enough to have a best friend with an amazing dad, who is already so missed. His happiness and smile was infectious and his kindness made me want to be a kinder person.
When I was first married and in nursing school, I struggled with 2 small children and I will never forget when he made Christmas exist for them in a time that I wasn't able to. I can still see Christian riding around in that red power wheel that he bought for him.
Papa with Brittany and Brookley clinched to each arm in the pool, which would have driven most crazy, but only brought a bigger smile to his face.
Love. Kindness. Positivity.
Thank you for being such an example.
You are missed.
