Kevin Stern

It couldn't have been a more idyllic childhood growing up in Chico with Kevin (& Steve E) as friends. We rode bikes everywhere and Kevin always seemed to have some new adventure for us to jump in to. Always kind and always smiling..he was a good friend to have. It was also nice that he was about a foot taller than all of us so we wouldn't be too worried about what we might run in to. Hard to accept that he is gone from this world. My condolences to Kelly and Sharon.

I first met Kevin in 8th grade and I always remember what a truly funny guy he was. He always had the the driest, funniest, most thoughtful comments pointing out the absurdities of Junior High and High School. We reconnected decades later when he was youth minister at the Neighborhood Church. I was teaching at Chico High School and we shared some kids.
