Tears are filling my eyes, to hear about the passing of Officer Kevin Valencia... My heart breaks for what he endured... A man of pure heart and goodness !! My heartfelt sympathy to his wife, his children, and all that knew him. Officer Valencia was a true hero with a warrior spirit that fought so very hard to live for his family... May he rest in eternal peace...

Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for the whole family. As a mother of a Firefighter who raised a son alone as a widow at 27 I know how hard this is going to be for Megan. You know it takes a Village to raise children - I know Megan is going to get the continued support she needs from the community and the Police and Fire Dept. God bless you Megan your boys and family.

Our prayers and thoughts go to and are with Mrs. Meghan Valencia, along with Kaleb and Kolton. God bless and God speed everything that you do and everyone you may encounter.

To the wife. I´m a firefighter for Osceola County. I´m very saddened by what happened to from all accounts a great cop. My father was a deputy with Orange County. I want you to know that me and my wife are thinking of you and very saddened. We are here by your side if needed. Love and prayers to you , your children and of course Kevin. I remember watching the story. I will never forget him.

After listening to Kevin´s squad mates, I feel I would have loved to work with him in my old southwest sector also known as Echo. Midnight shift would never ever be dull. It breaks my heart that Kevin is not able to chase bad guys for he was obviously meant to protect and serve. Keep your squad safe and protect them from harm. Watch over your brothers and sisters. I am so sorry for our loss.
