Read MoreI have fond memories of Klaus from many years ago when I lived on Hilton Head and worked at The Bank of Beaufort, the only bank on the island for a long time. He was such a gentleman and a great chef, remember when he was at the Seacrest and many other restaurants on the island. May he rest in peace.

To the family of Klaus Jackel....he was truly a long-time friend to our dad, Marvin Kinard. Some of you might have heard that name. Klaus, along with Franz Auer and a couple of others, formed a strong bond from working together on Hilton Head in the early days.
