I have fond memories of Klaus from many years ago when I lived on Hilton Head and worked at The Bank of Beaufort, the only bank on the island for a long time. He was such a gentleman and a great chef, remember when he was at the Seacrest and many other restaurants on the island. May he rest in peace.

To the family of Klaus Jackel....he was truly a long-time friend to our dad, Marvin Kinard. Some of you might have heard that name. Klaus, along with Franz Auer and a couple of others, formed a strong bond from working together on Hilton Head in the early days. They enjoyed each other's company and seemed to have much in common, even though they were from many different areas of the world. Our sympathies to you.
