Not sure what to say?

I was just working with a publication from 1984, by Professor Namboodiri on Matrix Algebra. His work of 37 years ago is still appreciated with thanks.

I love you Dad.

Allan Feldltl 2010

we were grad students together at Michigan and met a few times after that when our careers crossed briefly. An old and dear friend. His son, Uni, and my son, David , were also early friends and both died far too young. I am sorry to learn of his death almost a year later and extend my condolences to him wife and daughter.

Krishnan was always a warm, vibrant personality, encouraging and supportive of his students and colleagues as well as a brilliant scholar. Single-handedly, he founded the use of life table analysis and a wide range of demographic and statistical techniques which are widely used today.

I always remember the autograph he wrote for us when he once visited us at our house which was " Make full use of your capabilities ".
"Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family"

An excellent demographer and theoretician. He was a source of encouragement while I was a graduate student. Fell sad about his loss. He will always be remebered.

I was thinking a lot about Krishnan-- on my birthday, April 28, 2015. He was my favorite, warmest and MOST demanding graduate professor at UNC-Chapel Hill. Learning of his death today saddens me. But I will always remember his warm smile. He was indeed an extremely fine gentleman... and an intellectual giant.

I am so sorry to learn the sad news of Krishnan's death. He was a great demographer, a wonderful friend, and thoughtful mentor. Jo and I send our warmest wishes to the family, especially to Sally whom we remember from our days at Cornell

May our beloved Namboodiri uncle's soul rest in peace.
