Not sure what to say?

I was looking up Kurt my old friend on line when I saw the news of his death. My family and I used to be close to Amber and Kurt. I never met Denise or their child. I wish the very best for Denise and Amber. I am deeply saddened

I am so saddened to hear of Kurt's passing. He photographed our wedding in 2008; I remember the reason I wanted him to capture this day was his sensitivity, tenderness and passion as a person. I knew from the first phone call with him that his ability to connect would make him a great addition to the intimacy of the day for us and I was right. My thoughts are with Denise and the kids.

We just read this about Kurt. He photographed our wedding back in '02. He was a great guy and we feel that we are so lucky to have met him. Even though we did not talk to him regularly we was always considered a friend. Your family is in our prayers.

I am so surprised to hear about Kurt's death. I was a student with him at Sac City college in the 1980s, and admired his creativity and style back then. I always thought he was a sensitive and astute visual artist, and I envied him for that. He showed me how connecting with people when shooting portraits was so much more important than technique.

My dear friend Kurt. You must be enjoying photographing with a new light now. I miss you deeply and overwhelmed by this news. I will be so glad to see you again when that day comes. God bless your family.

Ackerman friends and family-my heart breaks for you. My intuition spoke to me this morning and I googled Kurt to see his photography, only to be saddened by the news of his passing. In March, 1988, we laughed about him being my first sponsor. I thank him for my 22 years of sobriety. Please know that he will be missed. Blessings to you all.

Friends and Family - Thank you for your tremendous love and support. Your prayers mean so much and are helping us through this unbelievably difficult time. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. As Kurt would always say "Every thing's going to be okay!" That is our mantra these days and with God's Grace we'll make it through. Love, Denise

Denise, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I'm sorry I missed the wake and funeral as I truly wanted to attend. Kurt will be sadly missed. He was a very talented photographer/turned musician who loved his family very much. I will miss his smiling face as he saw thousands of smiling faces from the photos he took from the eye of his camera. Take care and if you need anything, you know how to reach me. Julie Morris
