It has been a long while since I last saw Kurt, well before his passing, but my memories of him are still with me. A loving father who kept smiles on the faces of those around him... family, friends, and guests alike.

I knew Kurt through his son Jeffrey, a now-distant friend of mine who I've since lost touch with. Kurt had gone well out of his way to make him especially happy and I was able to see that first hand.

The Albjerg family family has seen it's share of hardships, but one thing will remain constant, the family raised in part by and because of Kurt are some of the kindest, giving, forgiving, and charitable people whom I've ever known.

Kurt will be, and has been, missed.

And I thought he was "miffed" with me. I had no idea until I googled his name... just now.I cut Kurt's hair for a number of years when the family lived in Woodbury. We became very close friends and when the family moved to New Hope and then down in Arizona, Kurt and I would have many morning phone conversations of family, the next "great" idea, jobs, politics and his favorite... our Lord and savior.I know Kurt's beutiful heart, his passion, his humor, and his love for his Father in Heaven.I love the man, as a great friend, and a great brother. I will see you again brother! Richard Hubal

I had the great pleasure of meeting Kurt just a couple of months ago. I'm shocked at his passing, and wish to share my condolences with his family. He was a casual gentleman of keen intellect who always had a business idea at the ready. I will miss you Kurt.
