I didn't get to work with Kurt as often as I would have liked, but he was always my first hire every summer at Sunnyside. I could count on "The Good Looking Hudson" (that's what he MADE me call him) to give me a heap of grief about his class size--threatening to quit summer school if I didn't lower his class size before the session started. Then, in true Hudson style, summer school would start and he would willingly accept EVERY KID I sent his way---topping his classes at 50 many times. Why?...
