Not sure what to say?

Just reflecting on you - how thankful I am that you saw something in me and encouraged me to pursue this track in prosecution. I had a vision, but you helped pave the way. I would not be who or where I am at today without you. It still pains me that I lost the benefit of your mentor/friendship that I was so looking forward to gaining over the years to come. But alas, that wasn´t meant to be. Know though, that you made a tremendous impact on my life and that of many others. You continue to be...

Miss you Judge Kumli.

My condolences to his family and close friends, what a brilliant man Kurt Kumli.

I just found out that Kurt had passed. My deepest sympathies to his entire family and closest friends. As a criminal defense attorney, I appeared numerous times before Kurt when he was on the bench. Being a judge truly suited him. He understood people, was easy to speak with, and most of all JUST. AND A GOOD MAN.

Far too young to leave those he loved.

My sincere condolences for Kurt's family. I was out of town and very sad to have missed the services. Kurt was a wonderful friend, mentor, and colleague. I had the pleasure of working with him both in the juvenile justice system in the DA's office and as a colleague as a judge. He was an amazing supervisor, a tireless advocate for youth everywhere, and just a good man. I hope his daughters will find some peace in knowing that he has taught them well and given them the tools they need to...

My condolences to Kurt's family and colleagues...this is a terrible loss.
I am so very sorry. - Per Dahlin

Kurt cared profoundly about justice, young people, and making the world better. He was also brave, unheistantly willing to open up his world to a group of reporters from ABC/PBS. He believed in letting the truth win out. Kurt also wore the love he had for his daughters on his sleeve at all time. Their accomplishments and personalities filled him with such joy, laughter and pride. And in Sue he found a true partner with tremondous grace, who gave him a safe place to come back to from the...

I remember when he worked as a DA at Juvenile Probation. Such a nice person. My deepest condolences to the Kumli family.

I always enjoyed working with Kurt when he was a DA and respected him as a judge. He will be very missed.
