Not sure what to say?

Having gone to St. Sebs, Pius and Marquette with Kurt, I remember him as the smartest, kindest and most caring person I could have known. Reading the other entries, I see that these wonderful qualities stayed with him and grew throughout his life. What a blessing he was to those around him! I was very saddened to read of his passing and extend my deepest sympathy to the whole Pritzl family. May he rest in peace.

As I read the comments about "Fr. Kurt" I chuckle remembering Kurt from high school. Ultimately the same wonderful man. "Mighty 9", "Moderation" as well as the learned scholar and great friend who helped me show my father around Washington, DC many years ago. God bless us, everyone.

My sympathies to Fr. Kurt's family and Dominican friars, who surely now find a place of emptiness in their lives. I know you say goodbye to your brother with great pride in the man he became. All of us who grew up in St. Sebastian Parish in Milwaukee share the same pride. Peace to you all!

My prayers to the Pritzl family and all of the friars. As a student of Fr. Pritzl's, but even more so as young Catholic, I have nothing but admiration and respect for this holy, humble, and inspiring man. He was one of the best professor's I have ever experienced, but more than that was a living witness of Christ's love. Pray for us from your heavenly home!

Truly a holy Dominican priest. Dr Jeanne E. Hicks, MD, OP

I was a former student of Fr. Pritzl at Catholic University. Some years after I graduated my mother died and Fr. Pritzl came to her wake. It really meant a lot to me. He was a very kind person.

Father Kurt was, simply put, one of the greatest men I have ever met. May he rest in peace. My prayers are with his family and his Dominican brothers.

Most of my recollections of Kurt Pritzl were during our days as graduate students in Toronto. I recall his gentle wit, his smile, his playfulness (in those days the Pink Panther provided great room for imitation), and his love for Aristotle's treatise on the soul and for the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas. His ordination to the priesthood as a Dominican was a gift to us all. Word of his constructive leadership as Dean of the School of Philosophy at The Catholic School of America, reached well...

Kurt was always a great guy, a gentle spirit and a warm understanding friend. God is gaining another soul, and we are gaining another saint to reccomend us to the Father.
