Paul and I are so sorry to hear about Kurt. Sending the family lots of love. I will miss seeing him at the farmers market.

Kurt was a valued member of our firm, BLRB Architects. Everyone enjoyed working with him and being on a design team with him. He was dedicated to his projects always striving for excellence. Our condolences to Jill and her family, and we know you have wonderful memories to keep you strong in the days ahead.

Kurt was a valued friend and his vocation overlapped mine at both BLRB and then the Olympia SD. I share the privilege of that time witnessing his many gifts unselfishly offered to improve the human condition. Fond memories are on my mind for Mount Tahoma HS, Garfield HS, Wapato HS, Olympia HS, Reeves MS, Baker MS and multiple other short sprint special projects. As a man at work he was an absolute joy. Kurt was part of our BLRB Architects team. He was well loved and respected by all because of his thoughtfulness, competence and consciousness. Besides all that seriousness he was always ready to have a goodtime. Working hard, playing hard and being a team player is how I'll fondly remember Kurt. May his soul be in heaven and his family be consoled by knowing him and his love.

We are so sorry for your loss of Kurt way to young. Kurt was a loyal participant in our downtown Tacoma YMCA basketball noon hoops group for many years. Kurt was a great player and competitor but an even greater person. We would compete like dogs and then laugh about how great we were. You always wanted Kurt on your team because he was a consummate grinder with strong, rebounding, defense, and timely scoring. We even created a "noon hoops hall of fame for years of participation" and...

I hope all the great memories helps offset the grief of losing a loved one. I met Kurt once and he left an impression I won't forget. I worked many years with Stan and know how much the boys were loved by him & Joan.
