Dear Sue, Dennis, and Jason:
I needed to write and express my deepest sympathies to you Sue, and your family. I did not know Kyle personally, but I knew through our talks at Scott School just how incredibly special both your boys were to you and your husband. I know how very much you looked forward to visiting them or having them return home for a stay. Although I am not too religious at this time in my life, I do have the spiritual conviction that the life and love that Kyle embodied cannot be extinguished. May you continue to feel his love and find comfort in knowing that his "living" goes on. Please know that so many people care about and love you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kyle's passing. I was one of Kyle's RA's in his freshman dorm at UPS and I can't think of Kyle without remembering how funny and kind he was. Kindness is not always a freshman guy's main characteristic :) so it really stood out in Kyle. I have some funny memories of him during that year. He is obviously missed by so many, me included. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Some of my fondest memories from childhood were with the group of neighborhood boys. Kyle, Darren and I playing basketball behind the shop, riding skateboards together sometimes pulling each other from a rope tied to a bike. He was always a good friend. I even remember when he organized a baseball card club, where he would take our pooled money and buy packs to bring back to share with the rest of us. We lost touch as we grew older which happens a lot, but the memories will always be fresh in my mind. I am truly sorry for your loss Sue, Dennis, and Jason, and you will be in my prayers.

Dear Legan Family,

I live in the condo across the hall from Kyle's and was shocked and immensely saddened to learn of his death. I enjoyed our conversations when passing in the hall and the parking garage, and he always seemed to be on the way to or from work, spending time with friends, or biking. It is just hard to believe he is gone. I know we are all saddened here in the building - several people have placed flowers at his door. Please know you are all in our hearts, as is Kyle.

Aunt Sue, Uncle Dennis and Cousin Jason, We will all miss Kyle so much, his wonderful smile and quick wit is something we will always remember first about him. He gave such good advice to Courtney before she started college that she will truely find helpful. Meeting up with him in Denver when we were in town for softball with the girls was a blast.

Dennis, Sue, Jason and Viola,

We were so shocked and saddened by the news about Kyle. You have heard all of the words that will give some comfort now, and everyone will continue to hold you in their thoughts and prayers. As time goes on, have your precious memories wrap themselves around you and give you some peace. We can not know how you must feel, but I think that losing a child before their time must be the greatest pain a parent can have. We got out some old pictures from the family picnics and smiled at all of the kids. Ryan and Kyle always seemed to be standing next to each other. Pictures always seem to be one of the things that will bring a smile. We always enjoyed getting your Christmas letter, so we could keed caught up on your boys. I'm sure all of you were so proud of his accomplishments. Know that we care.

Respectfully and with love,

Kristin Brown

Please accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts and prayers as we know you are hurting today and will for a long time to come. But remember that you will always have the memories that can never be taken from you and please dwell upon those good times as we feel Kyle would want you to and not live in sorrow. Our hearts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God watch over you and bring you comfort.

Dear Legan Family,
I was so sadden to read about Kyles passing in the paper this week. We had many fun times during Senior Year and I had the pleasure of attending Senior Prom at McKay with him. He was such fun company and a great friend to have. He gave me one each of all of his senior picture shots and wrote hillarious things on the back of each one. I remember over sping break that year he jumped in the freezing ocean on dare. That was just the kind of fun and crazy guy he was. He took me to Portland to see my first laser light show at OMSI. I fondly remember keeping him company watching "Philadelphia" while he was stuck at home with Mono. I think of him whenever I see a Ford Probe go by. I had a pleasure of reconnecting with him this year thru email. I always wished he was near so we could get together. My thoughts and prayers are with Doug, Sue and Jason.

I had the pleasure of working with Kyle when we were both at protiviti. We both left around the same time and I, along with all my colleagues, was in udder shock when I heard news of his passing. When Kyle and I were able to connect in the office we made sure we were productive by talking about things such as his next travel adventure, local sporting events or the best places to eat lunch. I even recieved a lot of his emails since we both had the same first name and people got confused which "Kyle" they were sending it too. Don't take the little things for granted. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kyle and his family. God bless.

Dear Legan family -
I met Kyle Freshman year of College. I remember he used to come into my room and fall asleep in my roommate’s bed while I studied. He could snore like a champ. We didn't always get along, but when we did it was a special time for me. To watch Kyle finish off a Bubba Burger at The Ram was a sight to behold. I am so sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed.

Dennis, Sue, and Jason,

I am so sorry to hear about Kyle's passing. Knowing Kyle since first grade, I have many great memories of all of our times together. We spent many hours playing basketball in the back of the house, riding bikes through the X-mas tree farm, working on a school float, riding around in Kyle's yellow Honda, hanging out in Japanese class, always having a great time. These are just a few of the memories that have come back to me in the past few days as I have heard about Kyle's passing. He will be missed very much.

Dennis and Sue,
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. This passage from Psalm 139 has helped me through hard times before: Wither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or wither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend to heaven, though art there! If I make my bed is hell, thou art there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there thy hand shall thy hand lead me and thy right had shall hold me. I just wanted you both to know that I love you both very much and you are in my prayers.
Love,

I'm incredibly sorry to hear about your loss. At times like these, it's hard to know what to say, but know that Kyle had a powerfully positive influence on those of us who knew him. Kyle was one of my closest friends in college and beyond, and the three years we spent together as roommates were some of the best of my life. I have so many good memories of Kyle, and we had so many fun times. I often think of Kyle's ready smile and quick laugh. I wish you the very best, and hope that you know that Kyle was a true friend to those who knew him.

Dear Sister and Brother In Law:
Thank you for bringing Kyle into our lives. We have been a proud Aunt and Uncle and have so many wonderful memories of fun times spent with Kyle. In his adult life we stayed connected and in touch by email, phone calls and the week end we moved into our home here in Dallas he came to visit. When he lived in Denver we were able to visit him and "do the town", a time shared with him we will hold dear forever. Be proud and take comfort in all his accomplishments. Words can not express our deep sorrow. Our hurt and pain is nothing in comparrison to yours. Know we Love you with all our Hearts and are here for you 24 hours a day, forever.
Jason, your brother loves you and was always proud of you and he was so happy you found Rachel. He has always been your friend and now he is your Guardian Angel.
God Bless my Family

Sue, Dennis and Jason,

My prayers continue to be with you during this time of sorrow. Kyle was a steady and invaluable friend to me over the past 13 years. I remember one time when I was feeling a little down in the rainy weather of the PNW Kyle decided to drive me until we found the sun, just to cheer me up. It took us several hours but we found it. That's the kind of friend Kyle was, and I am so blessed to have him in my heart always.

Dennis, Sue, and Jason-

It's been many years, but I've frequently thought of you and Kyle over that time. I've reminisced with the "old gang" on so many occasions about the wild and crazy things we did as high school students and Kyle's name was always coming up. Unfortunately, I lost touch with Kyle after a year or two of college and I had difficulty re-connecting. Recently, we tracked one another down and exchanged several e-mails. It was as if no time had passed at all. Kyle was still as witty and engaging as ever! I sincerely regret that it took us so long to re-establish our friendship, but I'm so thankful that we did.

Wishing you strength and peace.
