Pastor Jones would be truly miss.I have been to Springfield Baptist Church for different ocassions.I give my condolence to his wife and family.
May God keep you in comfort,

My aunt Lexie Hinson was your church mother for a while before she past. My mother, father and myself was often at Springfield when I was a child along with the All-Night prayer band. God bless you all and we still treasure the 9:00 pm sermons on WYCB every Sunday.

TO THE SPRINGFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH FAMILY:
MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF PASTSERVICES WHEN THE GMWA, DC CHAPTER HAD CONCERTS THERE. I WOULD OFTEN BE THE MC FOR MUSICALS THERE.
I WISH YOU GOD'S SPEED IN YOUR LOSS.
HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED.
MEMBER OF THE SANCTUARY AT KINGDOM SQUARE

Our prayers are with you.

To Sis. Jones and family, I extend to you my heart felt sympathy on the home-going of Rev. L. B. Jones, Sr. He was a mentor and second father to me, there are so many lives here in Kansas City that he touched. He now rest from all his labor, and his works do follow him. I will never forget you or Pastor Jones and the early days of Fellowship District, I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
