Lamar L. Bennett

Mr. Bennett was such a sweet man that gave of himself to others. I remember when we used to go to your house on Halloween and Mr. Bennett would take us on a hay ride.
He was such a gentleman , always.
I love you ,Mrs. Bennett and pray for you to have comfort and peace in the days ahead. It is a comfort to know he is with our Lord Jesus. Love, Louise

I remember visiting the Bennetts many years ago when the children were small, and we were able to ride one of his horses he had in the field. I have a photograph of him leading us around. He was a wonderful farmer, and loved fresh vegtables from his garden. The example I have always had of the Bennetts is their deep committed love for one another, their work ethic, their generosity to so many, and how they always wanted to help those in need. I am sorry to hear of Mr. Bennett's passing but know that he has now gone home and is definitely okay. I am glad that it was my pleasure to have known him and attend church with him for several years while living in Canton. He loved the Lord and was a fine christian man.
