Not sure what to say?

My name is Eugene Strader, Jr. I was just thinking about Mr. Price, so I decided to Google him, found out that he passed years ago. Mr. Price was my first music teacher at school #41. Mr. Price introduced me to music when I was in the 3rd grade. I was taught how to listen, talk and appreciate music. I started out playing the drums, but one day, I walked into the music room and there was Mr. Price, playing on an upright bass! I just stopped and looked at him. His eyes were closed, there was no...

Mr. Price...Ive been thinking alot about you lately and Ive often wondered how you were doing over the years. You were my music teacher in 7th and 8th grade at School 61 and I remember when you used to pick me and a few kids up in your car for summer school back in 81. I just saw your obituary this morning and Im heartbroken. I know I shouldn't be because youre with the Lord but I never got a chance to say thank you for what you did for me as a kid. After I left middle school I went on to...

I knew him as Mr. Price. He was my first music teacher. He let me explore as a young student, first with the cello , then letting me switch to the viola. One day I heard him play the trumpet and I was hooked. He led me to the room where the instruments were stored and found a worthy trumpet for me to learn to play. This occurred 50 or so years ago. It is 4:00 am in South Carolina, for some reason I was thinking of Mr. Price, I googled and found that he had passed. This man gave me the gift of...

We are saddened by your loss. We remember the gift you (Ellen)gave on the day of the departure of the group traveling to Africa. You showed up and prayed for a safe journey. Your dad was a special part of this spiritual and life changing trip as he videotaped countless events and encounters. Jim and Linda Miller

Ellen, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr Price was the Music Teacher at School 43 when I attended and lived across the street from our house on Boulevard. I always thought he was a movie star like character. Impeccably dressed, and the epitome of professionalism and class. A gentleman's gentleman best describes Mr. Price. Bless His Family in this time of sorrow. Condolences from the Wrights and Brown families.

Dear Ellen and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We fondly remember your Dad's kindness and honorable service as an Original Montford Point Marine. May you be blessed with loving memories of him. Please accept our most sincere condolences.
With sympathy and prayer,
