Not sure what to say?

Thinking of the Chaney family on this day! Love always.

As I read the beautiful comments left in honor of my late husband, Lance, it brings my heart joy. (Many I have read before and now I see a new one) Thank you for taking the time to share. "The Journey" ....... is what I have name my life´s yesterday, today and tomorrow. Through it all God has been faithful and I am forever grateful. Please note -if you wish to reach me, both Greater Antioch of Rock Island and St. John MB Church of Boynton Beach will always have my contact...

I have the fondest memories of being an active church member of Greater Antioch Baptist Church in Rock Island,Illinois. A young dynamic pastor Rev Lance Chaney and his beautiful wife Marilane were awesome leaders of our family oriented loving church. Being military affiliated my family moved often. It was always important to me to have a church home wherever I was. Rev Chaney and his congregation took me and my children in and showed us Christian love. It was a joy to my soul to hear him...

I can't explain it but Greater Antioch, Pastor Lance Chaney&his lovely wife Marilane &children have crossed my mind many times thru out the years. I've always kept them in my prayers no matter where I made my next home at. Working for the Government my family moved a lot. I found a great place to worship at Greater Antioch. Pastor Chaney & First Lady Marilane welcomed me and my children into their church family. I was an active member singing in the choir and participating in church...

A tremendous friend, who shared his heart, mind and pulpit with me far more times than I deserved! Prayerful for his wife and children.

What a great, yet humble man. Always displaying concern for others and showing them the love of Christ. Pastor Chaney eulogized my son who was murdered in 2011. Although he didn't know me, I will never forget the love, concern, and kindness that he showed for my
family. Thank you Pastor Chaney for being there for us. To his wife, children, and to the entire St John family, you are all in my prayers.

To the family, thank you for sharing your husband and father. I made St John my home away from Detroit, MI which made my stay a spiritual joy because of Rev. Chaney.
May God wipe away your tears and heal your heart! Pray for his guidance during this most difficult time.

A PRAYER FOR THE CHANEY FAMILY. May the pain you're feeling come to pass May your joyful mood return and last May your suffering be washed away May you find some rest in the bed where you lay.May you sleep peacefully in the quiet of night May your spirits soar like an eagle in flight May there be an end to your feelings so blue May the healing hand of God reach out to you.May the pain you're feeling come to pass May your joyful mood return and last May your suffering be washed away May you...
