He was born in Germany on January 2, 1993 and passed away on April 22, 2013 in Austin.
He was a graduate of Hutto High School and was a student at Texas Tech at the time of his death.
There will be a time of visitation from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Inge,
It is incomprehensible to Dave and I that you have had to cope with so much loss. I wish I had the opportunity to tell your son how honored I was to name our boy after his Dad. It was a gift to get to know Lance today, through the words of those who loved him so dearly. I know from the very deepest recesses of my heart that you will continue to endure, wherever you choose to be, and wherever you wish Life to take you. Your strength and dignity shined through today...please dont let anything dampen that Spirit that you have.

Obwohl ich Sie nur aus Lance Erzählungen kenne weiß ich, wie sehr er Sie geliebt und geschätzt hat, Inge. Kein nochso geartetest Loblied auf Lance kann auch nur annähernd den Verlust und den Schmerz beschreiben, den wir alle durch seinen allzu frühen Tod erlitten haben. Er war einer der außergewöhlichsten Menschen im besten Sinne, die ich jemals kennen und lieben lernen durfte. Er wird immer einen Platz in meinem Herzen haben und die Flamme seiner Seele ein ewiges Licht ausstrahlen.

Lance, you impacted our lives and were part of our family. I will always remember your crazy red curls that were even crazier after an all night LAN party. But your laugh...that will stay with me the most. You made us all better for knowing you. You weren't supposed to leave this soon. I imagined you and Ron working together and building an empire <3 Inge, my heart breaks for you. I pray that God brings you peace.

We grieve with you over the loss of Lance. We didn't know him very long, but we know he was very intelligent, polite & caring. He loved Chrystal so much & she loved him dearly. Both of them are gone too soon. We pray for God to comfort you in your sorrow.

As I knew him was a very helpful person. I will miss him on IRC #innercircle. He's done so much to help with our room and help the moderators and all the Operators. Lance was in my 3rd grade class, and I came to love that boy so much. He was so smart and happy. He brighten my year. The world has lost a wonderful young man who could give so much. I am saddened greatly by his tragic death.
