Not sure what to say?

Dear Josie Family,
We were saddened to hear of the loss of Lane. We so enjoyed knowing your family and doing the books for so many years. We enjoyed coming into your home each week and visiting and associating with such wonderful people. Lane truly had a heart of gold and was so kind and friendly. Our thoughts and prayers are for your family at this time.

Monica we are so sorry about your dad, we just found out today. He was an awesome man and AJ will never forget the times he took Kolton and him to the Jazz games. He still has good memories of that. Words can not describe how sorry we are. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I met Lane for the first time doing an inspection in Sandy about 25 years ago. He picked me up and held me over the hole, threatened to drop me in if I didn't pass his inspection. It was one of the few times I was speechless. He was one of the hardest working men I have ever known. My sympathy to all of Layne's family.

I started in construction in '74 building homes on foundations by Lane, years later I inspected foundations by Lane. He was always a pleasure to be around, a true proffessional with a fine sense of humor. He always knew me on sight but for some reason could never remember a name. I was sadddened to hear of our lose. My prayers go out to the Josie family.

TO THE JOSIE FAMILY...
WE ARE SO SORRY FOR THE LOST OF YOUR HUSBAND DAD, GRANDPA..HE WAS SUCH A GREAT MAN.
ALWAYS A FRIEND TO EVERYONE.. MY BROTHER AND I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR FAMILY..AND WOULD ALWAYS SEE HIM AND YOUR MOM AT EVERY GAME...ARE PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU AT THIS SAD TIME...REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES.. AND THE EXAMPLE HE WAS TO ALL WHO KNEW HIM.

Words can not begin describe how Lane influenced my life. Not only was he Grandpa Josie to me on the softball field but also off of it. I spent a lot of time with he and his family because of the friendship I have with Calista. The man loved his buffets:, he was brave enough to let Calista and I work for him one summer, he sponsored me in softball (Reid's Concrete), and provided me with the opportunities to see a little bit of the world outside of Utah. It is a comforting knowledge that we...

Josie Family and Ashton Family,
The Loveridge family would like to send our love and support to your family at this hard time. Grandpa Josie will be greatly missed by so many. We will miss the laughs, jokes and love he gave to us all. We will miss traveling around with him and Grandma Josie for West Jordan basketball. He was and still will be the Jag's #1 Fan. " Until we meet again" Grandpa I know you will be watching over each of us always.

Josie Family,

Just a little story about Lane. When I first got into the inspection business, back in 1991, I started basically as a permit tech for SL County. Lane Josie would call, and I would answer the phone “This is Layne”, and he would always stutter a little and say….. ya I need to schedule a foundation inspection for tomorrow, and so on. After a while I became building certified and I went out to do my first foundation inspection for Lane Josie, and I introduced myself as...
