Larry V. Andrada

Larry Visagas Andrada, 88, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 in Norfolk. Larry was born in the Philippines to the late Gregorio and Romana Andrada. He is also predeceased by his wife, Aida Yermo Andrada as well. Larry retired from the US Navy and later worked as a civil servant with the Civil Service. When he was a young boy he was active in the Filipino resistance against the Japanese invasion during WWII. Larry was also a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church for many years as well. He is cherished in memory by his children, Noel Andrada, Romeo Andrada, Nick Andrada and Susana Andrada; four grandchildren, Mellanie Andrada, Ariel Andrada, Ayaka Andrada and Aidan Gabriel Andrada.

A visitation will be conducted from 5-8pm, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1pm, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Chesapeake. Burial will immediately follow the service at Rosewood Memorial Park.
