Our first memories started when we just little guys and all our (very) many aunts, uncles and cousins would come out to the farm for Sunday afternoon visits to grandma. Myself and my father are deeply saddened by this news. Larry used to go to the stock car races when I was young and he and my dad were friends. He won a teddy bear and gave it to me (I was probably 9 or 10). After that my parents and I referred to Larry as Teddy Bear. Fast forward to a couple months ago. My dad was in a rehabilitation center with Larry. Larry brightened my dads day. They ate meals at the table and Larry would stop by my dads room to talk. I will never forget his acts of...
